The bright-rimmed cloud IC 1396N is believed to host one of the few known cases where two bipolar CO outflows driven by young stellar objects actually collide. are traced chains knots H_2 emission, with enhanced emission at position possible collision. aim this work use proper motions confirm collision scenario. A second epoch image was obtained, and were determined a time baseline ~11 years. We also performed differential photometry on images check flux variability knots. For each outflow (N S) we classified as pre-collision or post-collision. axes knots, point, post-collision estimated. difference between motion direction angle from point calculated. some obtained 3D velocity using radial derived spectra. pattern in area interaction (post-collision knots) shows deviation that consistent being consequence outflows. This favours interpretation true protostellar jets instead projection effect.
